Kindness and Safety at

Gockett Animals

We invite you to connect with our residents in a way that ensures their happiness and your safety during your stay in the Monmouth valley.

To keep our donkeys and llamas happy, please follow our simple welfare guidelines. We ask that you only feed the animals with the specific treats provided at check-in and avoid hand-feeding to prevent nipping. When walking through the paddocks, please move calmly and close all gates behind you. Our llamas are gentle but curious, so we recommend giving them space until they approach you. For a detailed list of how to interact with each specific breed, please consult our guest interaction guide.
